The Child of an Active OWWA Member or Sibling of a single or Married but
The Childless Active OWWA Member.
Incoming 1st year College
- Single
- Not more than 21 years old
- Grade 12 graduating student
- GWA of 80% or its equivalent
2nd to 5th Year College
- Single
- Not more than 30 years old
- With GWA not lower than 85% or its equivalent
- Must have no failing grades
- Must be enrolled in a Philippine-based college/university.
He or She must submit Grades 9,10 and 11 in any of the following official document forms:
- Form 137,
- Form 138, or
- Transcript of Records

- Copy of OFW Passport I.D.
- Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR)
- OFW Declaration of no Child Dependent (For Married OFW but childless)
- Birth Certificate issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA),
- NSO or City/Municipal Registry Office

Who can apply for the OWWA Scholarship Program?
- Deserving Migrant Workers (active OFWs) who are not more than 45 years old
- Children of active or inactive OFWs who are below 21 years old
- GWA of 80% without failing grades or within 20% of graduating class for children of OFW and no failing grades
- If OFW: Annual Family gross income of $2,400.00 or P76,000.00
- The Alternative Learning System passers under the Continuing Education Program – Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) with an average of at least 85% or its equivalent as certified by the DepEd Accredited Schools.
